New Skies for the 71

I came across these skies with the width extenders and decided to restore them to like new condition.  I will install them on the Olympique this week.

The Purge Continues

If you didn't know I am purging my projects.  I had over 20 major projects either started or waiting.  Decided to get them cut in half and I am actually down to 7 projects.  It was a shame to let this one go but it feels good to have it purged.

I hadn't worked on this for over a year (more like 2) since Andre and David, two good kids were in grade 9.  We started the Antique Snowmobile Restoration Club and worked faithfully every Wednesday morning.  Thanks to Mike R. for his help too.

So fun to see my students design and build this for the Firefighters charity.  They exceeded my expectations.

The other day I painted the door jams. Today I put the doors back on and started blocking the back end. Got most of the back cut with 320. About 2 hours of work and 2 beers.

Engine almost done

Got out side and finished the head.  Now I just have to adjust the tappets and put the Intake anc carbs on.
