Tv mock up

Got the tv today so we hooked it up in time for the baseball game and tonight's hockey game.

Wall Unit Valance

I wanted a valance with 3 pot lights so I figured this is were to start.  I also didn't want traditional posts so the engineering was going to be a challenge.  So was the electrical, running a switched live feed that far was going to be hard.

 7 years ago I purchased 300 BF of oak to make a bed for my 71 pickup.  Changed my mind and have finally found a use for that wood.

 Back at the house the foundation was ready

I have had this project in the back of my mind for several years.  I have finally got to work

 After I poked a hole in the jut-out I realized I had a great canvas to work with.

 It all started with this small hole in the 18 inch jut-out. (below) then the demolition (above)
